- The color of the cement is grey with greenish shade.
- It should feel smooth when touched or rubbed in between fingers.
- If hand is inserted in a bag of cement or in a heap of cement, it should feel cool and not warm.
- It should be free from any hard lumps.
- When cement is thrown to water, it should sink and should not float on the surface.
