About NIEIT:-
NIE Institute of Technology, more fondly known as NIEIT is situated in the world-famous heritage city of Mysuru. It is around 12 km from the city railway station. NIEIT was established in the year 2008 by the NIE foundation (R) to offer degrees in Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Information Science and Engineering. In the year 2013, Mechanical Engineering Program was inducted into the list of programs offered.
NIEIT has a sprawling 25 acres of Land Area amidst prominent industries such as BEML, Infosys, etc. A total of 15,282 sqm of built-up area is available for instructional and administrative purposes. In addition, NIEIT has 26,600 sqm of carpet area for amenities and other utilities.
An added attraction is that the institution has a large playground for outdoor sports such as Cricket, Football, Basket Ball, and Athletic Track. Two well-equipped Hostels with all modern amenities have been constructed to house around 300 students. NIEIT has well-qualified, experienced & dedicated faculty members, which include 12 Ph.D. holders, 28 faculty are pursuing Ph.D., and 25 faculty are master’s degree holders who are ably supported by experienced technical staff. Currently, there are around 1000 students enrolled.
